I'm thankful for all the men and women who won't be spending time at home with their families this holiday season because they're fighting for our country. It takes a certain kind of person to sacrifice that much time away from their families to fight for us so we can enjoy ourselves during this season. For this, I salute them. Soldiers and sailors, past, present, and future, I am thankful for you.

I'm thankful that the Lord saw it to create bad guys who need killing. Islamo-nazis gotta learn. And I'm grateful hat I'm alive after doing that for so long and get to spend my favorite holiday with my family.

Thanksgiving day was Monday here in Japan, but I'm thankful for my students, who bring me joy each day. I'm thankful for my readers, who not only read what I write, but who indirectly bring me pay. Thanks, folks.

I'm afraid that as a Brit in Britain I cannot into thanksgiving. But be thankful we stick by you so you don't have to go it alone.
PS. we got better hats.
